There's a fenced in little area for the dogs with a doggy door inside and a ramp so they could go as they needed to without needing to hook them up to their leashes or carry them to the fenced in area which was a major plus early in the morning while the grass is dewy and at night to avoid the mosquitoes (because there are plenty of those.) « Excellent location and great accommodations. Enjoyed the kayaks that were available for guest use. 15ish min walk into town with sidewalks for most of the way. My daughter loved the hammock they have under the tree and the fire pits next to the water were great in the evening. We didn’t make use of the bicycles but they were well equipped with 10 beach cruiser type bikes. I was concerned about the proximity to the train tracks but slept fine. « We had a lovely stay and would happily stay again. Our group included a 3 year old, so we were initially concerned about the potential for accidents with decorative pieces in low-lying areas, but breakables were out of reach for the most part. So, it was not a problem. »
