'This beautiful historic B&B was a joy to stay at. The breakfast was so delicious and had a great variety of items to choose from. I was especially impressed that with son with allergies to nuts, soy and dairy was able to eat the breakfast!'

'Our family was taking a cruise out of Galveston and this property is literally two blocks away from the cruise terminal so it was great to spend the previous night in old town Galveston very nice and then the next morning we just walked to our terminal for the cruise line, everyone was very helpful. 'This time we stayed in the Cottage. It was a separate unit behind the main house. Easy to enter using the code I was emailed. The cottage was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large with a claw foot tub and a wraparound shower curtain. The room A/C was excellent. It was very comfortable all day and night. The ceiling fan was whisper quiet. The cottage included a kitchen area with a half-size refrigerator/freezer, counter top, cabinets, tableware, microwave, and a table....

'Absolutely STUNNING home surrounded by equally stunning homes. Easily walkable to a lot of local places. Owner was very accommodating and helped us with the easiest check in process I've ever experienced. Phenomenal place!'

'Clearly a recent building or very well renovated given the paint smell when entering the room (wich was noticeable but gone very quickly when turning on the airconditioning). Very light and modern setting with friendly and helpful staff. Not directly to the beach so you’re located at a more quiet place. Yet the beach is less then a 5 minute walk where there’s a plethora of dining options to choose from along the coastline. Divided with cute little beach shops in between. Would stay again and...

'Wat een hartelijk welkom van Michael en zijn vrouw. Tot in de puntjes verzorgde kamer, heel netjes en schoon. Een prachtig huis om in te verblijven! Wij zaten in het bijgebouw en onze vrienden in het grote huis. Zo sfeervol! De enige tip die we hebben als verbeterpunt is de waterdruk voor douche en wasbak. Voor de rest is alles voortreffelijk. Genoten van het ontbijt, er wordt alles vers voor je bereid. Dikke aanrader!'

Joellyn was a fabulous host; she served delicious breakfast and offered several tips/ recommendations for activities around the island. The location of the home is near to several other historical landmarks/ museums, the Strand, and the Seawall. 'Very cute little place and very warm and friendly. Easy to get in and out. Wish there were drawers to put my clothes (other than under-the-bed drawers that were sort of in the way) and wish the air conditioner worked better. Set it to the lowest it would allow, 67 but it never got below 74 and for us that made for not a great night's sleep. Maybe it was just that room?'

'The room was clean and spacious with very friendly staff. There was a great variety of breakfast items. The pool was well maintained and the outside showers were needed for after visiting the beach which is located across the street.'

'Friendly staff, in my stay for a week no making the bed or clean sheets, i had to ask for new towels. Only 4 chairs at the pool and every day i had to ask to open the pool. The hotel is a bit noisy but i felt save and welcome due to the staff.'

'The hotel is very old and not well maintained. The carpet was dirty and the room smelled moldy. The air-conditioner kept us up all night long. Breakfast was decent, but the area was not clean. There was trash everywhere. Very disappointed.'
