'We had a lovely long weekend stay on veautiful Sugar Mountain. The Fall weather was wonderful. There are many nearby activities. Evenings around the fire pit. Bill was very responsive anytime we had a question or an issue. The house is very clean and nicely decorated. This is a great place to stay.'

'Overall a great stay! Wish their beds were larger than a full (pretty snug with 2 adults in one bed). Good location, private for being so close to amenities. Neighbor dog was a bit of an annoyance, but eventually was put back inside.Kitchen was great! '

'Great location. Easy to get to downtown Banner Elk. Grandfather Mountain is about 30 min away. Charging port was a super handy addition as there are not a lot of chargers nearby. Works seamlessly with Tesla but will need the adapters that come with your Tesla.No A/C but we stayed in late June and it was forecasted to be very warm in the local area but the elevation, screened windows, and included fans make it a non-issue.It deserves all the 10/10 reviews.'

'We loved the fireplace and the location! The beds were very comfortable. The home is very, very nice and close to Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk and Boone. It is so private and secluded, but there is alittle bit of road noise. Light sleeps, bring your noise machine. '

"One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. Not much to do within walking distance, except a burger takeaway. We tried to walk to a nearby microbrewery. It should've been a 5 minute walk, but we found it impossible to cross the 6-lane highway in front of the motel so gave up and went back to our room. Maybe, as Europeans, we're not used to the American way of driving everywhere, but to visit a brewery, walking would seem a safer option. Pleasant enough motel but not sure we'd return."
