« Lovely property out in the middle of nowhere and we didn’t see a single person during our stay! (We did, however, meet a very friendly dog during an evening stroll!) The property was very clean and well stocked. Looks just as nice as the pictures! I would advise bringing bottled water as what comes out of the tap is not easily drinkable. We had a fabulous time! »

« This lovely house was absolutely perfect for our family of 5 and 2 dogs! The accommodations are very accurately pictured and the host was extremely polite and helpful with navigating our stay! It is in a very quiet and peaceful location where we were able to enjoy your privacy as well as some of the local wildlife (from a distance, of course). The kitchen was also well stocked with a comfortable layout to be able to prepare most of our meals during our trip! We have stayed in quite a few places...

« Our family was in town for a wedding and chose this home because the hosts allowed bigger dogs and the property had a fenced yard. We were impressed with how well they have kept up this old farmhouse. The bedrooms and closets were spacious, and the beds were comfortable. »

« Really cute place! The kitchen is well-equipped, the king-sized bed is very comfy, and the hot tub on the deck was sparkling clean and SO relaxing. Lovely view of the surrounding mountains, and the location is halfway between two of the Shenandoah National Park entrance stations, so it's very convenient. One note: based on the size of the shower and the tightly-spaced upstairs bathroom, this would not be a good choice for tall visitors! »

« Had a great time at Jax Mt getaway! My children loved the movie room and all the inside and outside games! We were only able to use the hot tub once since it was so hot but it was relaxing!! Beautiful mountain escape and if we are ever back to the area we will stay again! Close to Luray and Shenandoah caverns! »
