Reviewer Comments:
I want to be very clear this review is strictly about the house, not Seven Sisters. Terri and her staff were great to work with and very accommodating of my last minute booking. As for the house, it is quite nice, and I'd previously rented another house on same block so I knew the location is great. But, it was lacking in a few ways. First, it lacked certain necessities of a house of its caliber and cost. Simply things, like a clothes iron and ironing board, and basic kitchen utensils, like measuring cups and kitchen shears. It also had no curtains or blinds in the living room, which I found odd as the neighbors can look right in 24/7. Living room furniture was old and not very comfortable. Second, the primary bathroom was very nice, but the water heater didn't have enough hot water to fill up the amazing bathtub. Found that out the hard way. An on demand water heater would solve that issue. Third, the washer and dryer were quite old, and I get that it's easier and cheaper to service older models, but they made my clothes look old and worn out after using them.Fourth, the bed in the master bedroom was simply not acceptable for a house of this caliber and cost. The mattress was ancient, and the 4" thick piece of foam thrown on top was incredibly uncomfortable. I had to remove the foam and buy a mattress topper just to make it tolerable. I would not rent this home again strictly because of the bed being so bad.
