'Great stay to be so close to the lake. Provided plenty of lake accessories so you would need to pack minimal equipment. The pictures are a little deceiving as you are on top of a steep hill with Route 39 (which is busy) between the house and dock. We brought our dogs who are well behaved and stay pretty close. I would be concerned if my dog did not have good recall or young children. However, being situated on top of the hill provides a nice view! '

'Our weekend at Rory’s home was everything and then some. The hospitality was truly unmatched. Rory bought us a new grill, provided pizza, and gave us fantastic suggestions to go do in the area. There was so much to do around the house between using the kayaks during the day and ending the night by the bonfire. I highly recommend staying here for a weekend getaway, reunion, or even to just unwind and get away from the city. 10/10 experience, would absolutely stay here again! '

'I booked this room for my daughter and her family, and I live down the street. The rental is beautiful, clean, roomy and full of sunlight. There is a small kitchen and a grill on the porch - you can eat in the landscaped back yard. My son-in-law is a man of few words and raved about it. Melanie was very pleasant and accommodating. '

'Absolutely wonderful girls weekend at this cozy colonial! The house oozes old house charm, with modern touches that still preserve a historical feeling. Every amenity is exactly where you’d expect, from towels to umbrellas to kitchenwares. If you ever dreamed of living in a magazine spread, this is the spot for you. 'Our family had a wonderful stay at the beautiful, clean, peaceful Hoyt House. There was plenty of space to gather together as well as spread out. The daffodils were beginning to bloom and there is the sight and sound of a running stream behind the home. We were close to fun things to explore like the Audubon, covered bridge, and Kent waterfalls. Great bakery, restaurants, grocery a short drive away.
