'We absolutely loved our stay. The property is immersed in nature, close but far enough from Seward. The cabins are basic but this is really the point. The highlight of our stay was surely the friendliness of Gary (the manager/owner) and even his friends. A true pearl, a true local stay. Kids loved it too! The only place we stayed in Alaska that had its own playground, close to the lake. No small feat!'

'We arrived late, so the office was closed, but it was still easy to find our cabin and navigate the property. We opened our window and fell asleep to the sounds from the creek behind our cabin. In the morning, we watched the ducks in the pond while we drank our coffee on the deck. The bathrooms and washrooms were spacious and clean. I wish we could have stayed longer. 'The cabin is exactly as mentioned in the ad. Prior to arrival received very detailed directions for property. The area the cabin is located is very nice. Plenty of space between properties. The cabin is quaint, but perfect. Couldn’t have asked for a cleaner unit. Very close to Seward and an easy day drive to Homer.
