'Very impressed with how clean it was, and the employees were very friendly. Very walkable to the beach, and close proximity to the town. TVs also had great channels and access to Netflix. Rooms were very spacious and the front office had complimentary cookies, coffee, and tea. '

José the gardener made our visit by letting us know about the different plants and flowers that they planted/maintain at the Squibb House. He was so friendly and personal-really made our visit such a treat! We will definitely come back when visiting Hearst Castle and the elephant seal rookery!'

'Nice peaceful place. Clean and owners took care on the details. Liked the fireplace and THANK GOD finally a 'normal' shower head. So far everywhere encountered a wall-fixed shower head. Unfortunately like everywhere else in the US the walls are made of paper so your experience might depend on luck (if you have noisy neighbours or not). We had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was delicious but a bit small for a big guy that will spend the entire day hiking. The basket it came in was a bit dirty...

'Manager was absolutely lovely, atmosphere is beyond clean and relaxing, amenities even down to the soaps were very enjoyable. I had the deluxe king bed with jacuzzi bathtub and it helped me with the reset I needed. '

'Rooms where ok. Pitty there is no laundry option and no A/C in the rooms. It was great that is was next to the ocean and easy parking. But the pictures are different online than what we got. And I just had to deal with it or pay 50 dollars for a room with partial ocean view or a balcony'
