'We had a wonderful holiday at le moulin de la follaine. Its a calm and quiet, lush place and a great location from which you can travel to all the wonders of the pays Loire. We stayed at the gite, resembling a cute cottage, for a week and a half. There is a beautiful private garden when you rent the gite, but the whole premise (pond included) is accessible, very pretty and filled with animals such as 4 great cats, geese and chickens. 'Une nuit seulement passée mais nous sommes ravis. Hôtesse charmante et aux petits soins. Propreté irréprochable ! Maison joliment meublée de beaux meubles anciens. Calme absolu. 'Super mooie plek, super vriendelijke ontvangst. Zeer gastvrije hosts. Wij hadden bewust kamer met uitzicht op de Loire geboekt, was prachtig, maar wel wat lawaaiig vanwege ligging aan de weg. Komen hier graag terug voor wat langere periode. '

'Très bonne maison d’hôtes, les propriétaires sont très accueillants, chambre très propre mais sous la mansarde (donc attention à la tête dans les coins), petit déjeuner excellent, voiture indispensable car la maison est située à la campagne au calme. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour et nous reviendrons sans hésitation si la situation se présente. '

'Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise.'

'What a wonderful place close to the Loire. This old farmhouse offers spacious rooms and a generous breakfast in the morning. The owners are so helpful and lovely. It is not the Ritz in Paris, but it is a gem in the countryside. From here you can drive easily to the amazing castles along the Loire. We will be back! '

'Geweldig vriendelijke host die zelf heel veel heeft gereisd en dus heel wat te vertellen heeft. Prachtig ingerichte kamer met alle comfort. Zeer goed ontbijt en zeer belangrijk een eigengoed bereikbare parking voor de woning.Gewoon top. Gaan we zeker nog heen.'
