"We (4 adults, 2 children) had a very pleasant stay at Villa Lia in Boccheggiano. Marco and Lia welcomed us warmly and introduced us to the Villa, which is on a stunning location with a magnificent view over the surrounding valleys and oriented to the south. The house is very well equipped. The outside area is large with several terraces and a nice swimming pool with a comfortable temperature of 27C. Boccheggiano is a small and quiet village on the top of a hill (600 m.) and has two nice restaurants and a small supermarket and bakery. Nearby Folonica (40 min. by car) is worthwhile visiting for a day at the beach with lovely beach resorts. The beautiful city of Siena (45 km.) with its famous square, medieval streets and buildings and good restaurants is a must-see.Marco and Lia are ideal hosts, allways ready to help and providing lots of information, and -very important- they respect the privacy of their guests. We highly recommend Villa Lia."
