'It is a really nice place to stay, we loved the atmosphere and the trust the owners gave with their hospitality made us feel right at home ☺️ Our little one (2 years old) enjoyed feeding the neighbors chickens every evening and all the toys that were available! In the morning we would explore the area around Chacrise (such as Donjon de Septmonts and the Chemin des Dames route with the Caverne du Dragon or visit some of the Champagne houses near Reims) and in the afternoon were able to relax...

'This Gite is one of our favorites and it was the second time we’ve stayed there. The owners are lovely and so accommodating. They provide more than you need for a comfortable vacation and true French experience. For all of you history buffs, it’s only one town over from Belleau a huge WWI site (battle of Belleau Bois). It’s so close to Paris however there’s no reason to go there since there’s so much to do in this region alone. You must have a car to enjoy but that’s true of the countryside....
