Cottage la Vita Siena for 6 with private pool in a peaceful area in Siena city

Cottage La Vita can accommodate up to 6 guests in two bedrooms. It's a welcoming home set in a quiet neighborhood of Siena. The location is a perfect base for Siena centre, as well as the Chianti wine area, with Castellina in Chianti only 20 minutes on a panoramic drive. Florence and Montepulciano within 1 hour and San Gimignano 30 minutes.

The cottage is part of our estate where we also live with our adult children and dog that we keep in our fenced garden at the rear of the building. We highly value our guests privacy but we are available for any assistance you may require.

Amenities include a swimming pool and a hydromassage hot tub for the exclusive use of guests. At guests' disposal, an exclusive outdoor dining area by the pool that enjoys views of the countryside. Private parking on property grounds, wifi, air conditioning and heating, washing machine, hairdryer in each bathroom.

Our guests are welcome to help themselves to the bountiful fruit trees scattered about the property with ripe cherries in May, apricots in June, peaches in July and figs into August.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION PLEASE READ WELL:

Entrance into the driveway full of flowers leading to the two car spaces for our guests.

Taverna is the convivial area with a large wooden dining table, traditional large fireplace and full kitchen with gas stove, dishwasher and full fridge with freezer. From this area you can access one of the two bedrooms (Suite la Vita) and a bathroom with shower.

Bedroom 1 and bedroom 2 are not internally connected and located about 30 meters apart.

Bedroom 1 "La Vita Suite" a spacious bedroom that is accessed via the taverna area or externally. There's a double bed with stunning brick vaulted ceiling and cotto floor. This bedroom has NOT air conditioning but thanks to the thick stone walls it is naturally pleasant in Summer. A portable fan is provided. In the landing that connects the bedroom to the taverna with living room and kitchen there's a bathroom with shower (4 steps up to access this bathroom).

Bedroom 2 "Castrini Suite" is an independent building located by the swimming (some steps to reach the entrance - see photos). There're a living room with two single beds, TV and kitchenette with two burners and a minifridge. One bathroom with shower. One bedroom with two single, joinable beds and door to outside. This bedroom has air conditioning.

Swimming pool measures: bean shape: 10m x 5m /Depth: 1,40m-1,80 m. Open May to mid October.

External hot tub available on request (not available July and August) with a notice to heat it up (extra charge)

INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL COST:
Light cleaning (baths and bedrooms) every 7 days for multiple weeks only. For less than two weeks stays, we will change the bath linen only.
1 pool towel replaced weekly
Wifi internet (ideal for browsing internet and checking emails. Not for downloading large files)

NOT INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL PRICE and payable to the owner in Euro cash only:
MANDATORY:
Tourist tax Tourist tax 2,5 Euro per person from 10 years old and for the initial 4 days only
Cleaning/utilities contribution:
Euro 100 up to 5 nights
Euro 200 from 6 to 13 nights
Euro 300 from 14 nights onwards

ON REQUEST WITH A NOTICE and payable in cash to the owner:
Extra cleaning: 20Euro per hour minimum 2 hours (no Sunday)
Cook at the villa: external cook to contact with plenty of notice
Wood for fireplace: 20Euro per quintal
Heating in Suite La Vita is only with gas radiators. Cost is 10Euro per hour
Electric heater in Castrini suite is free of charge
Cot and highchair free of charge
Extra cleaning: quotation on request
Hot tub: contribution 40Euro for two consecutive days
Pet admitted (1 or two small size) but always kept on a leash
