'This small B and B (5 rooms) is very beautiful and the decor is artistic and elegant. So much attention to detail. My bed was so comfortable, and the shower great. I enjoyed sitting the garden when I arrived for a glass of wine and snack. It's about a five minute walk to Santa Maria gate to Centro. Maria, the owner, and Nadia, her assistant, were welcoming and attentive. '

'We had a fabulous stay. Rebecka was a great host and helpful before and during our stay. The location of this property is a perfect base for exploring the city. It is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and bright and airy even though it is such an old building. The bed was comfy, the shower was great and the toiletries smelled amazing. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again when we return to Lucca. Everything was perfect '

'Great location and appartment. Dupermarket is very closeby and within a minute in the central street. Seperate bathroom can be a hassle for some. The view from the appartment over Lucca more than makes up for it, as does the host. Great tips for food and drinks.'

It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. Our trip to Tuscany included stays in four separate locations and Villa Buonamici was by far our favorite. Do yourself a favor and stay at this Villa, you won’t be disappointed.'
