The latter is really hidden and compulsory. For a whopping $20/day one gets things that should be included for free, like a bottle of water and coffee in the room. Also access to the swimming pool and wellness are included but if you're not going to use them the hotel still expects you to pay for it. Very unfair and...
'The hotel exceded our expectations; it did not look very nice from the outside but the interior is obviously recently renovated. The rooms are very nice & clean and staff was friendly and helpful. It's right in the center which is very convenient. '
'The hotel supposedly has a shuttle to pick up people from the airport. But once you arrive from Europe without phone credit or data, there is no way to reach the hotel to request the shuttle.

"Very comfortable and warm Lodge for our winter stay in Banff. Nice and spacious room and the lobby felt very welcoming with the fireplace.
Beds slept well and we loved the hot tub at the end of a cold winter day outside.

"We waren in eerste instantie behoorlijk in verwarring. Hotel heette anders dan we gereserveerd hadden. Maar we werden vriendelijk ontvangen, geen probleem. Nette ruime kamer met koelkast en magnetron. Goed ontbijt met veel verse spullen. De grootste verassing was 's avonds de pizza die we gegeten hebben bij de de pizzeria aan de overkant van de straat, Antonio's.
Echt fantastisch. Zo lekker hebben we ze nog nergens gegeten. En we zijn toch een paar keer in Italie geweest."

Too bad as it's a nice hotel near Riverfront park and the center of the city but I will not be staying there anymore until they get rid of this crazy 'Amenity Fee'! "
