'We fell in love with this charming property and would definitely stay again. We knew there was no food, so we brought in dinner, breakfast and snacks. The shared kitchen was enormous, with several large refrigerators, and all appliances, pans, utensils, condiments, etc. that could be needed. The lodge was very comfortable, with 24-hour beverages, games, comfy chairs for reading or chatting, tables and everything needed for a fun evening. 'An amazing stay in the beautifully quiet Blue Ridge mountains. Picturesque Lake Lure is only a short stroll away. Chef Richard prepares a wonderful gourmet breakfast each morning and this definitely not your basic B&B but all at very reasonable prices. Thank you all. I cant’t wait to return.'

'We stayed in rooms at the hotel. The lobby is unique and so pretty with beautiful views off the back deck. We were impressed with the room cleanliness and attractive decor. The pool is a huge space and the ice cream store a perfect treat after a round of putt putt.'
