'Facility is old but serious efforts have been made to update. New dropped ceilings, fairly new furnishings, new paint, quaint etc. Very clean and comfortable. I had very limited contact with staff, but that was pleasant. There was some road noise but not terrible. Spacious parking was at the room entry. Some of the room photos are misleading. 'Not handicapped friendly. Only the Office, Restaurant, and Woodward House have Handicapped ramps. All other facilities seem to have stairs. This place must have been awesome 100 years ago. Currently, it is overgrown. There is poison ivy in most of the flower beds. Dead trees are draped with English Ivy that remains unkempt. Polk berry plants and other weeds are common. 'The place is beautiful and tucked into the woods. I recommend taking a screenshot of the instructions while you have cell service since it cuts in and out when you're that deep in the hills. You have wifi in the room which is great. Loved the property! There's a community kitchen in the lodge for all your cooking needs.'

'The hosts were wonderful and made sure we had what we needed when we arrived, including making sure we had access to the private parking away from shop/restaurant traffic. We dropped our equipment rental at Beech and rented direct from White Wolf when we arrived which was excellent service and convenient allowing us to skip the lines at Beech and walk right onto the slopes from the rental.
