'I don’t normally write reviews but was pretty happy with this spot. Stayed here for a few days with my husband and our 2 little kids. Location was excellent especially with kids, easily walkable to the harbour front where we spent all of our time. Very clean so we immediately felt comfortable, and loved the bedroom space as well as living room space to hang out. Also, 5 min walk to the grocery store and a spot to grab wine / beer. 'Unfortunately upon arriving at the property I immediately realized that this was not the place for us. The property was not clean and some of the linens even had holes! It made me realize that I need to pay more attention when booking and be more skeptical. We unfortunately paid for an accommodation that we didn't use as we left and grabbed a last minute hotel for our time in Halifax! '

'We had people visiting from out of town and wanted somewhere with room for us all to stay. The ArtBnB was so charming, the decor was colourful and quirky. There were plenty of sleeping options for everyone- a king bed, a rollaway cot, two sofa beds, and some floor mattresses. Everything was clean and checkin and checkout was easy. 'My immediate family (me, wife, 4 teenager) as well as some extended family (brother, sister, and her daughter) stayed here for a week. Wow. What a place. We did go do some local sightseeing in Halifax and Lunenburg, but our best times were at the place. It has all you need for a wonderful family vacation. Plenty of room for everyone, swimming off the dock, an incredible view, and a wonderful, super responsive host. It gets our highest recommendation.'

'Beautiful home and property. Very spacious and well decorated! The beautiful table set for us in the dining room was a wonderful surprise! The toys for the kids next to the cinema room were also greatly appreciated. My favourite part, though, was the view and the tranquility in the morning, drinking my morning coffee from the upper deck, looking out to Fletcher’s Lake and watching a variety of birds fly past and through the trees on the property. 'Lots of amenities. Owners very helpful in recommending local restaurants. Enjoyed finding mussels and sea glass on the little beach as well as the antics of the "rock" beavers. The heated pool was a plus. Absolutely wonderful views of the bay.'

"Positief: Gemakkelijk te vinden en niet ver van het vliegveld Halifax. Mooi gelegen aan het meer, genoeg parkeerplaatsen. Bedden prima. Kregen het idee van een beetje vergane glorie van de Inn. Negatief: Vreemd om een extra deposit te moeten betalen bij aankomst terwijl je de hele verblijfsom al hebt betaald. Ook vreemd dat de bar al om 20.00 uur dicht ging terwijl het restaurant dicht was. Tijd werd wel wat opgerekt, maar raar. Qua koffie serveren, alleen gewone koffie/americano, geen cappuccino of zo mogelijk. Deur badkamer sloot ook niet zo goed en koelkastje te koud om er insuline in te bewaren. Sommige dingen, zoals airco waren aan onderhoud toe."
