'Room was tired and bed uncomfortable. Car park had no lighting which made it difficult to navigate in the dark.'

'Lady on reception charming'

'Beautiful property out of the bustle of nearby Ambleside or Hawkshead. Lovingly cared for and staffed. Gorgeous views, delicious breakfast and dinner, and a hot shower. Hikes out the door. 5 minute walk to Beatrix Potter's home at Hill Top. We hope to return.'

'I rarely write reviews about holiday stays but had to do so for our three night stay at Grange Manor. No noisy dining room nor rush to have table cleared away. All was at our pace which was what we wanted. A peaceful haven in a beautiful setting with the most friendly and helpful staff made this break first class. We...
