This was a beautiful stay for our multigenerational family gathering. There was something for everyone. The water was shallow enough for little ones to play safely in. The lake offered many boating experiences such as fishing and tube pulling. In addition, the public park was walking distance just down the road and offered a nice beach and playground. We enjoyed a great fish fry at a near by restaurant which was also walking distance. Items we needed or forgot could be purchased at a nearby gas station which was also walking distance. We really appreciated the layout and quality of this beautiful cabin which was generously supplied with things we needed including consumable products. The owner stopped by for a friendly chat. Being located so close to the ATV action I was concerned we may be bothered by their noise and traffic but that really wasn't the case. The only thing that I thought could have made the experience better was if the private sandy area could be made bigger and more easily reached for all our little ones. We are definitely considering returning here next year for our gathering.

Family Gathering

We were so happily surprised at the house, location, and amenities that we found here. Our family, ages from 4 months old to 75 years old enjoyed playing in the lake from early morning to late at night. It was the perfect place to have our gathering.

Training retreat

We stayed with our cross country team for a training trip (12 young adults). The cabin provided everything we needed and more. I was a little worried that there was not an indoor dining area but with the covered deck and plenty of folding tables and chairs, we really enjoyed the outdoor setting for our meals. I would love to come back with my family as the space also seemed to be fun for all ages and was really close to 3 different parks and the surrounding area had a lot of fun outdoor recreation options.

Family vacation

Great place on the lake. Was a perfect set up for our family of 6 adults, 5 kids ranging from 1-7 years old. We brought 2 boats that we were able to tie to dock. Was great to have kayaks and a paddleboat to use. They have plenty of beach toys and life jackets available to use also. Only bit of advice I'd say, is to bring extra kitchen size trash bags and dishwasher tabs, we had brought some along so wasnt a problem for us. And bring a cutting board if you would need one😊 It was a wonderful place! Would rent again!!

Extended family getaway

Great property for our extended family getaway! Beautiful, well maintained home, beautiful yard, beautiful waterfront and dock on a beautiful lake! Enjoyed the yard games and kayaks provided and the extra refrigerator in the garage was a plus for our large group! Enjoyed our pontoon rental, taking it to the great Tiki Bar upstream!

Great lakeside group lodging!

Great property right on Lake Arbutus! It was great to have a dock available to fish off & tie up the boat our group brought along. Also plenty of toys for the kids to enjoy on the sandy beach. A minimum of mosquitoes was a major bonus! Cheryl was very responsive to any questions/concerns which was greatly appreciated. Plenty of room to sleep & play for several families! Hoping to return sometime in the future.

Fantastic cabin for a winter stay

We had 10 of us stay up there for some ice fishing, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! The location right on the water was fantastic. The cabin looked exactly like the pictures, and was super clean. Definitely would stay here again

Great Lakehouse Property

We had such a great weekend here! It accommodated our family very well, even one of us that was in a wheelchair. We loved how we were right on the water and the yard was flat to play games and hang out near the lake. The owners were very kind and responsive! We’d definitely stay here again.

Great Place For A Family Vacation!

We just returned home from our second stay at this wonderful home rental. Our family of 8 adults and 8 children had a fantastic time! The house was well stocked with everything we needed both inside and outside. We loved our time playing on the beach, kayaking, swimming and using the paddle boat. Can't wait until we visit again!
