Rooms were spacious but bathrooms are tiny, limited towels, staff was not helpful, beds were very hard, rooms flooded from rain storm was told to put luggage on bed. Never tried to do anything about it. Front desk was VERY slow. Rooms were not ready at 4. They had muffins and water daily. NOT worth the price.'

'What a tropical paradise! We were blown away by Hideaway! If you are looking for a private, family or couple getaway, this is the best place around! The simplicity might be a little less than what some want, but the stay met every one of our needs. The environment was beautiful and the beach was our favorite on the island! 'Room was clean. There is no elevator and we were put on the 3rd floor for basically an overnight stay. The front desk staff advised us that the shops were open on Sunday but after a taxi ride into town found out they all close early-what a waste of money. The wait staff in the restaurant were not very friendly. Would not recommend this hotel. '

'Hotel is verouderd en heeft dringed onderhoud nodig, zwembad is klein en ook verouderd. Restaurant is goed eten ok. Geen lift dus met zware koffer een hele toer om boven te komen als je niet op de eerste verdieping zit. 2 nachten meer dan genoeg om hier te verblijven. 'The Galleon House is so quaint and authentic, that we wouldn’t have stayed anywhere else! It is definitely a hike up a hill of steps, which fits into the location perfectly. The room was clean with a great balcony, air conditioning, adequate amenities for an island getaway, perfect options for continental breakfast with nice strong coffee, a refreshing pool, beautiful flora with lizards and a kittie mascot welcoming us each morning, a great central location, and very helpful, wonderful staff. ...

'This was a very disappointing stay. The hotel feels extremely low-budget and lacks even the most basic amenities you would expect. The WiFi barely works, and the TV doesn’t connect properly, which made it frustrating to relax in the room. The bathroom was also poorly stocked no shampoos or basic toiletries provided, which is something most places include without question. 'We stayed one night. For the price of almost usd 600 for one night we would expect better hotel. Breakfast was in a basket delivered to your room so you have to eat it sitting on your bed. Beside that it was a very limited breakfast. Environment is dangerous in the evening/night'

'Great location - close to shops downtown, not on the beach but only short cab away. Rooms were basic but clean and spacious. Bar and restaurant was great - views are amazing and food was really good. Would definitely recommend.'
