When you walk into Casa Saltwater Cowboy you immediately feel relaxation and excitement at once. This magnificent home on the beach was renovated and updated to carefully preserve but update classic Mexican style, features and design. The grand scale tall ceilings and open concept are refreshing in contrast to many homes that feel boxy and compartmentalized. Ideally suited for families or group retreats, there are 5 large bedrooms each featuring their own private balcony.

Casa Saltwater Cowboy is beachfront property on a stunning stretch of the Gulf of Mexico with the house set back from the water's edge allowing for a generous beach area. This is ideal for setting up badminton/volleyball nets or any other beach recreation you prefer! Throw your casting net right from the espalone where you can catch many different varieties of fish or wade in and cast your rod. Either way, the pelicans will keep a close eye on your progress! Hours slip by easily while you play in the ocean mesmerized by the sea birds and their daily shows.

A rooftop terrace with built in seating offers incredible views of the gulf and, being on a peninsula, the water on the south side. Bring your favourite beverage and delight in the breeze and sunsets.

The kitchen is well equipped with all your cooking needs, features a full size fridge and 6 burner propane stove with oven. There is also an outdoor kitchen. A generous counter with sink, gas BBQ grill and built in outdoor seating will delight the outdoor grilling aficionado!

Casa Saltwater Cowboy is named after the moniker the owner's second son conjured up to attempt to encompass his Dad's many passions. It's a fun place to engage in your own!

This property is managed by Cecilia and Martin Doty on behalf of the owner. They are located just down the beach road.

Need a ride from and to the airport? Please request that service at time of booking. Cost: $750 pesos (each way)

An on site clothes washer and spinner is available for use. A clothesline and pegs are provided. Laundromats are located nearby if you prefer. Please note the washing machine is typical Mexican style which is not what you may be accustomed to in Canada or the USA for example. It is not suitable for large loads and there is no dryer.

Turkish towels are provided for beach or bath use but please do not use the regular terry cloth towels for any use other than after a shower. TheTurkish towels dry very quickly and have been chosen for this reason.
For longer stays (over 10 days), we provide weekly light housekeeping. The pool is cleaned once per week.

If you would like the services of a personal chef, let us know and we will arrange. The cost is $900 pesos per day plus the cost of the food chef will prepare.

Please note that because Casa Saltwater Cowboy En La Playa is serviced by the local CFE (power company), the existing infrastructure for the area is not as you would find in a modern city or resort. During times of high demand there are occasions where power brown outs and surges may need to be accommodated. The owner has installed a back up generator that starts up if the house is without power for 4 consecutive minutes. It will also automatically shut off once hydro power returns. The owner has also installed significant solar power equipment to serve the home but the control over power is that of the CFE. In short, the charm, character, privacy and oceanfront setting will be the draw to Casa Saltwater Cowboy En La Playa. Every effort is made to update, improve and work with the local available infrastructure.
