DO NOT BOOK HERE. STAY away!! We traveled to Memphis by car from Florida and arrived at approximately 2:00 a.m. After checking in and paying the incidental deposit, we were informed by the front desk staff that no parking was available and that we would need to find parking elsewhere in the surrounding area.
One of the primary reasons I chose your hotel was because your website indicated that valet parking was available, which is a service we always rely on, especially when traveling with a child. Given the time of night and the fact that we were with a child, we attempted to find nearby parking but were unable to locate anything within a safe walking distance.
We returned to the hotel and requested a refund, a decision we did not make lightly, as we were unsure whether we would be able to secure alternative accommodations at that hour. The front desk associate informed us that our cancellation would be refunded and that a confirmation email would be sent. Unfortunately, we never received that confirmation.
When I contacted customer service this morning to follow up, I was told that the reservation would not be refunded. I am struggling to understand this decision, as the inability to provide parking particularly a service advertised and relied upon was entirely beyond our control. We prepaid for our stay with the expectation of receiving the amenities listed on your website, and due to this issue, we were unable to use the reservation at all.
