'Dit was een heerlijke plek. Er is zoveel ruimte dat je elkaar zelfs met 18 personen niet in de weg loopt. Op de warme dagen vind je elkaar bij het zwembad, de pingpongtafel, in de grote tuin of bij de ingebouwde bbq. Op koudere dagen is de fijne grote keuken (met twee ijskasten en twee vriezers) een gezellige plek om te zitten. Er zijn zoveel kamers om uit te kiezen. Eigenaar Patrice is ook een prettig persoon. 'Beware!! Do not rent this accommodation with VRBO. This is not a legitimate listing on here. We were scammed!!! We turned up and the managers knew nothing about our booking and had never used VRBO to rent it and it already had a long standing tenant there. It was a nightmare for us having to find alternative accommodation late at night after spending the whole day travelling there. It was a further nightmare trying to get the money back.'

'We had a wonderful stay in Montignac-Charente. The apartment is a short walk to the town center and we enjoyed stopping in at the patisserie and the cafe. A full grocery store is a short drive away. Our dogs also loved long walks along the country roads beside fields filled with sunflowers. Our host met us when we arrived, kindly showed us how everything worked, and even gifted us some apple preserves that tasted fabulous on our morning croissants.
