'We were in town to visit our son and daughter in law that live local and wanted to bring our fur baby. It can be hard to find affordable places that allow pets. The place was very accommodating and actually had two areas that he could roam off leash and us not worry. Perfect place for the 3 of us. Quite little community to just relax. We enjoyed our 2 night stay and will definitely return again.'

'Our stay was disappointing and, frankly, unsafe. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a yard strewn with trash from a tipped-over bin, which I had to clean up myself. The interior was no better: a bannister post fell out the moment we went upstairs, and a kitchen stool collapsed under my young daughter, sending her to the floor.The outdoor "amenities" were even worse. The backyard steps are creaky and unstable, the swing set is lifting out of the ground (too dangerous for my 8-year-old), and there...

'THIS was exactly what my husband & I needed! The peace & quiet was cathartic to both of us. We LOVED the cabin & it was indeed a Fortress of Solitude in the most beautiful way! We were truly able to disconnect from our hectic jobs & responsibilities & simply BE. And yet, we ate dinner Wed night with nearby family members at the Homestead Steakhouse, and it was wonderful-both the company & the food. We will definitely return; hopefully for longer stays. 'This is a great property. We had 3 adults and plenty of room. It was nicely decorated and had many nice features above a 5 star rating! If we travel back to Chapel Hill, we will definitely try to stay here. The city bus stops almost by the driveway and it is free to travel on it. We rode it to the N.C. University baseball park each day. The second day, the bus was a few minutes early and the driver actually stopped at the driveway and honked the horn!!!! I just can’t recommend this place...

'The stay wasn’t bad, we got there to a broken couch so we were down a seat to sit in. However, my sister had dog fur on her from my brothers house and it transferred to the bed sheets and they charged 63 for “new” linens and extra cleaning. It wasn’t that much fur I have the pictures, this is excessive. Be mindful when staying here. '
