« Owls Nest is located on our favorite end of Deep Creek Lake. We loved the cottage style and decor with everything you truly need for a comfortable and fun stay. The best part for us was the inclusion of kayaks, canoes and paddle boards. The fishing wasn’t bad either. Next we will stay longer. »

« Amazing! The location was perfect.. close to just about everything you could think of. Cabin was immaculate and had everything we needed. Was pleasantly surprised to see a keurig with k-cups too! Our pups thoroughly enjoyed the dog-friendly yard and all the nearby hiking options. Oh and lets not forget the hottub.. perfect 2 night stay! »

« From the get go the owner was extremely responsive and kind with all of their communication, which gave us a great comforability level. The cabin was beutiful and cozy and less than 5 min away from dining, shopping, and wisp ski resort, so close you could see the slopes. It was my first time in the area but the friends accompanying me had been to wisp before, they couldnt stop commenting on how great the location was for the cabin and how great the price was for it. We will 100% be staying here...

« We booked this property for a family and friends ski vacation and had a wonderful time. The house is spacious and contains everything you need for a weekend away. The kitchen was well stocked and had every tool or appliance you could possibly need. I was also worried about the temperature as we visited when it was very cold and snowy, but the house was well insulated and toasty warm. The wood burning fireplace, the hot tub, and the basement hang out all were awesome features that the kids...

« The home was very comfortable to stay in, nicely updated and the layout was perfect for us to spread out. The listing had a christmas tree in the photos so my kids were disappointed there was not a tree in the house. One of the front doors to the house does not lock so that made us a little uneasy at first. »

« We stayed at Mad men lake house for our Easter holiday. The driveway was steep. But, that was clearly stated in listing. Upon arrival they had fun mountain music playing. It was so cozy. My kids loved the game room/ping pong/ swings. Dog friendly...which I love! Some of the furniture was worn. But, we don't mind a little cozynes! All in all we would stay here again! »

« When we first walked in the property, we noticed a weird musky smell. The outside lights on the back deck did not work so we could not light the backyard up at night. The pool table downstairs is not what it appears the area is too small to actually use the pool table and the downstairs has a very creepy feel to it. The hot tub is the best part of this property. The master bedroom bed was comfy. The kitchen was nice. Definitely a nice community very quiet. »
