This custom-built luxury log cabin provides a relaxing getaway with a private hot tub and gourmet kitchen. Surrounded by aspen trees and expansive countryside views, yet close to the town of McCall, it's the perfect spot for guests who want the best of both worlds.

What's nearby:
The resort at Brundage Mountain is 15 miles north, and the nearby national forests and state parks offer groomed trails for snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. In the spring and fall, hiking, fishing, boating, golf, whitewater rafting, kayaking, and many more adventures await within a few miles of your front door (locals will insist you try the Louie Lake/Boulder Lake loop). For groceries, shopping, dining, breweries, and other entertainment, beautiful McCall is less than six miles away.

A property that under promises and over delivers

This property had some interesting reviews and images showcasing the features and amenities. We arrived with a little skepticism. Upon Arrival we were pleasantly surprised at how great this home actually was! From the expansive all-wood log cabin beams, to the cozy fireplace, and well-laid-out common and sleeping areas. The kitchen had everything we needed, A nice secluded neighborhood, Well-functioning hot tub and more. The living area was cozy and connected to the dining and kitchen areas making for good conversation whether someone was relaxing or cooking. The bedrooms are arranged nicely. And we were surprised to find a ping pong table in the garage! I'd definitely recommend this property, and I hope we get the chance to stay here again in the future.

Pretty good

The property was beautiful and appeared well maintained. What was odd was the weird things that it lacked. It had no condiments, hardly any coffee and what there was was in two unlabeled ziplock bags. Those were in fact the only ziplock bags in the house. So when i cooked and had leftovers, it was odd figuring out how to store them. There was also no cooking spray at all in the house, hardly any towels, and the hot tub worked for about 15 minutes before it quit and didnt work at all for the remainder of our trip. There were also no real great blankets which was surprising as the main seating is leather. The grill was also inaccessible in the garage which to me probably means its not ready to be brought out for the spring/summer. I may stay again as it was reasonable price wise. Although there were lots of "mystery fees." And when i tried to look at my receipt it was suspiciously "unavailable."

Pretty cabin, poor maintenance

The cabin is pretty but unfortunately we had a negative experience from the start. The entrance code they gave us did not open the door so I had to call in for instructions on getting the key from the lock box. Then the wifi password written on the sheet was incorrect, had to make another phone call to get the right one. Once we started getting situated we noticed dozens of dead flies all throughout the cabin floor and on one of the beds and shower. There were also many live flies flying around all the time. They should have several fly stripes out to hell with this problem. Some of the covers also smelled dirty. This was unfortunate because the cabin itself is beautiful and kitchen is well equipped

McCall get-a-way

We loved the house, property and spa. We needed to call management two times about spa and master bath shower but both times it was not knowing how to use rather that anything wrong. We received quick responses and help on both occasions. I think some specific written instructions would be helpful. Only negative comment, I think pots are reaching replacement time.

This is a great cabin in a nice neighborhood with semi privacy. We really enjoyed our stay. The only negative was the cleanliness of some of the cupboards and under/inside furniture. My son lost a small toy and it wasn’t pleasant to try and find.

This is a great house for a family. Plenty of room and furniture. Beautiful house. My kids had a lot of fun on the property sledding and tubing. We loved how quiet it was and loved the hot tub. Would definitely stay again!

This is a gorgeous cabin on a gorgeous piece of property. The landscaping is a beautiful mix of lush grass, flowers and trees. We watched a beautiful white tail deer grazing right on the property. It is quiet and very peaceful here. We enjoyed the hot tub immensely since it was raining our entire trip. Also peaceful sitting in the hot tub watching the aspen leaves quake in the wind. Just a relaxing and peaceful place all around!

Best Trip Ever!!

I was stunned upon arrival. My first comment was " if this house were mine, I would not rent it out"! I tried to keep it as nice as if it were mine! I want to thank the owners for sharing a stellar Home with my family and myself! We all loved every inch of it!!
