'The resort and Strickland family were all you would hope for. Peaceful, beautiful and kind. So much wilderness just outside the door.'

'Coming from the Twin Cities, this was a very pleasant four hour drive north into a wonderfully secluded lakeside cabin resort. While we didn't fish (it seems perfect for it), we did enjoy our time fixing a few slow meals in the cabin, getting out on the lake, watching the stars at night, and checking out a few nearby spots, like the county fair (that just happened to be perfectly timed with our trip) and bars/restaurants. Really beautiful land up by Northome, and recommend the stay for the area!'

'We stayed here for a week with 4 adults and three kids 6-12. There was so much for the kids to do. Take games, board games, a toy room, fishing, trampoline, TVs in each room. We enjoyed the front porch which we spent lots of time eating our dinners and watching the lake. The campfire pit is close to the house so we had one every night. 'The property was well maintained and easy to use for our family. The kitchen was well stocked with the needed pots/pans/dishes/utensils. We really enjoyed the fireplace. The listing wasn’t completely clear that the property was a part of a larger condo building with other guests staying right next door and there were a lot of flies and beetles on the floors and walls.
