Blokhutten in Maun

'Maun lodge accepted a last minute reservation after another hotel was overbooked and picked me up at the airport 90 minutes later. Staff was friendly and helpful. The facility is a little older but still nicely maintained and the evening dinner specials are a pretty good deal. Glad my first hotel was oversold and I was able to stay here.'

'Heerlijke kamer in de tuin. Lekker ontbijt heerlijk zwembad. Lieve mensen. '

'De jaren worden wel zichtbaar bij dit hotel. Het sanitair lijkt wel uit begin ' jaren 90 te zijn gekomen. Daar wil ik wel bij opgemerkt hebben dat weer en wind een stevige tol vragen van het gebouw. De mensen van Cresta Riley's doen hun best het gebouw bij te houden. Ook als het gaat om dienstverlening is er niks op aan te merken.'

'Quaint little hotel. Clean rooms and helpful staff'

'I absolutely loved my stay here. The staff were all very friendly, the rooms were perfect and the bar/restaurant has all you need. I also liked that there were walks you could do around the property, and the Kudu residents are very cute (still wild, they visit at night). Would definitely stay again.'

'Had no idea I was coming despite having already paid and a confirmation number. Staff were quick to get us rooms but could have been a real problem with 7 travelers.'

'The property was clean, but substandard in most areas. The welcome on arrival was pretty much non existent and we were told our confirmed Expedia booking didnt exist. The room was very small and the shower more so. There was 1 towel for 2 of us, though another was delivered on request. The aircon, which was essential leaked water when switched on. We put down a towel to catch the drips, but by morning the curtains (which incidently couldn't be opened) were drenched as was the towel we placed...

'I arrived really late in the evening. I was able to order a sandwich from the kitchen before it closed. There is nothing around the area. My major concern was that there were a ton of insects that I had to kill so they didn't bother me while I slept. I left early in the morning to join a safari tour.'

'Mr. Kabo was very helpful and attentive and we are grateful for his hospitality. We are allowed to late checkout and free airport transfer as our flight was scheduled in the late afternoon.'

'Wonderful stay. I recommend each guest must be provided with the gate remote as there is a delay in opening the gate or there should be a gateman stationed at the gate'
