'Couple of days to relax in the countryside '

'The Luxury Moose Retreat was absolutely amazing!! I have stayed at several rental properties in Basye, VA over the years, but this one was outstanding. It's less than 1 mile from Bryce Resort. Drive way large enough for 6-8 cars. The kitchen is spacious, more than enough counter space, high quality utensils, pots, pans, gas stove, there's even a wine fridge! The bedrooms are spacious, bright, clean, beautiful. There was not a single thing during our stay that we were inconvenienced...

'We loved our stay here! The cabin was clean and cozy and looked just like the photos. The hot tub was clean and ready to go. There is a nice yard and the road is quiet so our dog was off leash most of the week with no issues. The neighbors were so nice, multiple people stopped to talk to us when we were hanging out on the front porch. We didn’t hear back from the owner for about a week when we initially reached out (before the trip) but communication was quick and thorough every time after that....

The price point was also more affordable compared to similar listings in the area, which we appreciated.That said, the cleanliness of the unit left a lot to be desired. While I understand the unit is older and not recently renovated, some of the issues went beyond just being dated. 'This was a cute little cabin in the woods, and, for the most part, suited our needs well. One item to mention....the listing says that the cabin has air conditioning. It does, except the 2 downstairs bedrooms do not, so they got quite hot in the middle of July. It was a nice stay apart from that. Thanks!'

'Overall this property is absolutely incredible. Super spacious for a large group, the design is very well thought out and the kitchenware and such is all high quality making it a luxurious experience. The views are stunning as well and it was great to be able to walk down to the golf course and walk around. '

'All in all we had a great stay! Property was generally as pictured and described. Very comfortable beds, kid and pet friendly. We drove in through a snow storm but made it safe with an AWD vehicle and assistance from a plow truck that happened to be in the neighborhood. House is at bottom of a pretty steep incline and is on stilts on the side of the mountain. More pictures would be helpful to renters.'
