'There is not much to do in the direct surroundings of the hotel and therefore you must always take a taxi or tuctuc.. food is excellent, although the waiting time is relatively long. 'My investment wasn’t worth.It wasn’t like the picture I have seen.Lots of bugs and insects inside of the room.And I asked for a trash bin twice but they didn’t provide me.It wasn’t that much enjoyable for me during my stay but I would say to look for another option if that requires to pay more.'

'Stayed for two weeks in September 2023. For starters, the host family at Talalla Freedom are wonderful. Helpful, friendly, adjusted to my food allergies, went over and beyond. Rs 250 for a pot of fresh tea. The pool is lovely and well kept, the view and access to Talalla beach is phenomenal (as long as you don't have any mobility issues. Beds are Sri Lanka firm but comfy.
