'This is an excellent place to stay. It’s 4-5 miles out of town and is very quiet. Our stay was perfect!'

'We enjoyed our stay at the Grist Mill Cabin. Two things I would say. The steps are hard to navigate without a rail and the bathtub was hard to get in. We are both over 65 so in case you’re a senior citizen you might think about that. When we arrived on Monday around 6 PM we had to drive around the parking lot 3 times to find a parking place because Me. Gatti’s Pizza was busy.'

'Everything about the trip was very easy, from checking in, to settling in, communicating with the owner, and checking out. Annette, the owner, was very sweet and checked in on us when we first arrived, and she also was quick to answer the phone and bring us a lighter for the grill when we ran out of matches. 'We were looking for a relaxing stay in a private cabin. This place delivered!!! Very cozy.'

'Very secluded but within minutes of town. Hummingbirds were everywhere! We also enjoyed watching the deer, squirrel, a turkey, jack rabbits and regular rabbits. The cabin was cozy but did lack a few things we could have used. The bed was comfy and the hot tub was great for my aching joints.'

'Very cute and cozy little cabin. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The bed however was very uncomfortable and the floor was dirty. I kept picking up lint and hair on my socks and shoes. It was a great place to stay while we visited Fredericksburg.'

'Our stay at Honey’s Hideaway was great! Communication was good, check in process was easy and the cabin was incredibly clean and provided everything that we needed. The location of the cabin was the best part. We were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go off Main St. My only small complaint would be the loud music at the venue next door that went til about midnight. It wasn’t horrible and won’t keep us from returning. We will definitely be back!'

'Wonderful quaint little 2 room cabin. we were surprised that the second room was downstairs/basement type but loved the atmosphere. We were also surprised that there was not an oven to use. However we improvised for our dinner and it was lovely. Sitting on the porch we saw gorgeous deer and a little coyote. Definitely the retreat we needed!! Thanks for hosting us!!'

'We had such a blast! The property is so well maintained, the landscaping blends seamlessly into the natural beauty of the area. Pool was perfectly maintained throughout our stay. Tennis court is professionally lit and maintained and there are 2 great areas in the river to sit in the water and hang all day. Cabins are rustic-chic, very clean and well appointed. All in all it is a luxury rustic experience. Would definitely recommend to any group. Thanks again!'
