Particuliere vakantiehuizen in Marion

'This fit our needs perfectly we needed to be located near town and found ourselves right in the heart of Marion . The convenience and price were excellent. Way more comfortable than a hotel and the price was on point. Thanks for having us.'

'Great stay. Zero issues. Came down for a wedding and really enjoyed our stay at the house!'

'Property is overall solid and the stay was nice. Some quirks, mainly with the back door not fully locking and instead having rigged up a pole in the door track to prevent someone from coming in. Other than that, it was good.'

'Our family enjoyed this cozy home and enjoyed all the offerings! Loved watching the sunset and all the wildlife! Will definately return!'

'Great'

'Great space, easy lake access. Might need to go back when the weather is warmer. '

'We had our children and grandchildren with us and found this property to be very Family friendly. Plenty of games and movies inside. The basement was a plus, room for the littles to play and the foosball table made for some competition. The amount of Lake toys was very impressive and plenty of outside play area. Great location, quiet cove to swim in. Very well appointed house and Kitchen you don’t always get that but they thought of everything! We will most definitely come back! Our only regret...

'If you’re looking for peace and quiet you found it. I sat out on the porch and just looked at the pond. Turned off the cell relaxed and enjoyed the view. The host was very accommodating. The home look just like the pictures and when I arrived the air conditioning was going which was great when your from California and not used to the hot sticky summers in Southern Illinois.'

'Clean cute house.'

'We love staying here after sightseeing around Shawnee!'

'We rented this house in 2020 and had a great experience, which is why we returned on August 1, 2026. Unfortunately, the house is not the same.We arrived to find a bed that was broken and propped up with a stack of wood. It leaned so badly it was unusable. I contacted management around 5:00 p.m. and was told someone would come that night. After multiple messages, including one around midnight, no one showed up or even responded. My husband had to sleep on the couch. The next morning they claimed...

'Nice place. We cooked meals inside on the stove but also over a fire at the fire pit. There is a small creek behind the cabin that runs when it rains out. That was pretty cool. No nearby light pollution so the sky is really dark at night and you can see a lot of stars. Overall a great experience. Two wineries close by. It's on the wine trail. Close to everything in Southern Illinois. We went to all the state parks.'

'Property was great for my family of four. Plenty of room and very clean. We had a great time while staying.'

'Very nice property, quite, clean and the pool and deck are awesome!!! My family and I had a great relaxing time, I will definitely consider going back and recommend it if you like relaxing and swimming fun!!!'

'It was convenient having a garage for our car and luckily our car is small, because it barely fit. Nonetheless, a great feature. The place was clean, quaint, and adequate for the two of us. It was decorated to feel very homey. I recommend this as an option to stay if you are in the Harrisburg, Shawnee National Forest area.'

'Easy check-in process and super convenient location to SIU, Carbondale, and the wine trail. Ample space and 2-car garage made it perfect for a group.Only room for improvement would be having central air or cooling options in the bedrooms.Overall great stay'
