Backyard play structure and a few minutes drive to the beach. Enjoy the comforts of home during your stay on the wonderful Monterey Peninsula. The Monterey Bay Aquarium, Point Lobos, Laguna Seca Raceway, Pebble Beach, and Carmel are just a few of the daytime activities to enjoy. Eat out at one of our area`s great restaurants or stay in with a home-cooked meal. With comfortable seating for up to eight, family style dining is a breeze. Enjoy space and comfy beds.
Get a good night`s rest in the king bed. 2 full baths make your mornings more convenient. Use the BBQ or large kitchen to make homemade meals. Enjoy kids’ bikes and an adult road bike to ride to the beach. The home has been recently renovated with hardwoods throughout, insulated windows, crown molding, and many other upgrades. On a clear day, a peek of the mountain ranges surrounding Steinbeck’s Salinas Valley can be viewed from the home.

For families with little ones, there are some beach toys, a play area in the garage, and a pack-n-play. Also, furniture and TV are secured and the backyard is fully fenced for safety.

Guests have access to the entire home with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, an enclosed patio, kitchen, and backyard.

Feel free to reach out with your needs during your stay. We are happy to give suggestions for beaches, restaurants, and activities. Some times of the year we are next door. When we are away a neighbor is available who manages the home for us should you need anything.

The neighborhood is a quiet family location with several schools nearby. While it’s not in downtown Monterey, expect a safe place to enjoy all of the Monterey Bay peninsula, beaches, and surrounding bay towns. Just a few minutes to Marina State Beach, and a short drive along the bay to Monterey, Pacific Grove, and Carmel.

There is ample parking in the driveway and surrounding the corner lot home.

If you are coming from San Francisco or San Jose airports, it is easy to take a shuttle to Marina. The shuttle drop off is just a 4 minute Uber ride from the home. Save money and get your rental car upon arrival, or just use Uber, Lyft, or taxis to get around.

Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.
Accommodation fees are occupancy-based and the amount listed at booking will be accurate for the number of guests on the reservation. Addition of guests after booking will also adjust accommodations fees.

With advance notice, the housekeeping company can usually accommodate late check-out and early check-in for a fee to account for inefficient routes, additional staff, and/or off-site laundry required to prepare the home more quickly. Contact host for current rates.
