'The river and waterfall views were special. The kitchen was more than sufficient, but be careful of the smoke alarm! Everything was very comfortable and the host was helpful. Just 15 miles to the NP. '

'We loved the Sauk River Cabin! Perfect base for hikes along the Mountain Loop Highway and in North Cascades NP. Great location near Darrington, which has groceries, restaurants, and gas.The cabin itself is wonderful. Very comfy, and the river-side amenities like the fire pit and the lounge chairs on the riverbank make it a great place to hang out between and after explorations.Highly recommended!'

'My wife and I traveled from Texas to stay at this cabin because of the beautiful photos, amenities, and location in the listing— and wow, it exceeded our expectations. 'The property was spacious, clean, and we enjoyed a beautiful view of the Skagit River from the back porch and family room area. We used the home as a base for driving into the North Cascades National Park and doing day hikes. We did Cascade pass, Maple pass, and Blue Lake trails and then enjoyed the beautiful drive back to the rental home each day where we prepared a delicious meal using the grill and enjoying the dining area with a view of the river.
