'Very nice for New Year’s Eve '

'The property was quiet and felt private though in a neighborhood. The house was very clean and the kitchen well appointed for cooking. Our little dog came with us and was welcomed to stay. All was in good order as was described in the VRBO listing. Our only suggestion might be that the mattress was a little too firm--a memory foam mattress pad would be great! 'This was the perfect house for us! We live in Hatteras and took our boat up to Wanchese to run some trips in late August - there was space for all of us who work on the boat and then some for our guest leaders who helped us out. The layout is spectacular and there is so much space to spread out and relax or work! 'I enjoy going to the Outer Banks off season when it's a bit cooler and there are a lot less people. We wanted to be able to have a house close to the beach that also provided some privacy and we wanted a hot tub. 'Unfortunately, the host did not respond to questions i asked immediately after booking in a timely fashion which created a HUGE misunderstanding and unnecessary stress and conflict. Sent 4 messages the day i booked and one the morning of arrival and didn't receive a response to my specific inquiries until close to check in. Very disappointing experience. '

'Extremely clean. Property has a great location and was a no more than five minutes from beach access and had two tackle shops withing 10 minutes.
