'The Bear Necessities Cabin had everything I wanted. Centrally located to mountain biking and hiking. Only 5 miles from Cortez for picking up food, etc. Relatively quiet, peaceful, and scenic. Amenities like a decently equipped kitchen, and a clothes washer and dryer for my extended stay made for a comfortable stay. 'This is a beautiful little cottage located in a beautiful little town. The location was excellent to walk to coffee shop, grocery store and brewery. The beds were very comfortable and the place was so quiet. We would definitely stay here again!'

'We had a short, one-night stay here and had a great time. The kids really loved playing pool in the basement. We all enjoyed the hot tub under the stars at night. It was a very quiet location. It could have been a bit cleaner, but overall we were happy.'

The place was conveniently located near downtown Durango for shopping and for catching the train to Silverton and Mesa Verde National Park. The place itself was cozy and spotless, perfect for a couple's retreat and getaway, offering peace and tranquility. We will definitely stay here again when we return to town.'
