The local town is charming with supermarkets nearby and a great selection of restaurants. There are some interesting places to visit within half an hour as well as about an hou's drive away. "Beautiful property and grounds with lots of sunny spots and shady spots. The pool was beautiful too. We did a couple of day trips out but mostly just chilled out and made use of the pool and table tennis. There was also a tennis court with basket ball hoop but we didn’t use it. Good local supermarkets and we tried the local pizzeria and bakeries - all excellent."

Les grands espaces pratiques de la maison étaient parfaitement adaptés à la taille de notre groupe. Même si la météo n'était pas au rendez-vous, nous avons pu profiter de l'intérieur (fléchettes, table de ping pong...). Jean-Jacques fut très réactif et conciliant. "This lovely property is off the beaten path just outside of the small town of Mauves-sur-Huisne. The house is as it looks and has ample space for 12 people. The owners are absolutely lovely and on hand to answer any questions and recommend local excursions. Lovely Belleme is just a 15 minute drive away for shopping and strolling. "Nous avons été enchantés de notre mini-séjour dans ce joli cottage en pleine nature, très propre, spacieux, très bien équipé. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la présence des deux salles de bains, des deux toilettes et des très grands lits L'environnement est magnifique avec une vue splendide sur les vallons normands. Et l'accueil de David fut chaleureux. Quoi demander de plus? C'est une superbe adresse à retenir pour nos prochaines visites dans la région."

"Only stayed one night, rental was very easy to find in a very remote peaceful location. Travelling with our dog so wanted to be in the countryside. Rental had everything needed, comfy bed and good shower. Didn’t really use kitchen but looked more than fully equipped. It is very remote but that’s what we wanted.."

"The house was absolutely beautiful, and ideally situated just a few meteres away from the town square - but very quiet indeed. We enjoyed a wonderful meal at Les Glycines, which is highly recommended. The downstairs space is fairly compact, so while I think it would suit a family with small children it would be a bit of a squeeze for a group of five adults. But overall we loved it; we needed a rest and that's what we had!"

Bedding needs and towels were not provided as part of the rental and we had to pay an extra fee of 50 euro for sheets, pillow case and towels. We think this should be included in the description rather than provide this information shortly before rental date.
