« The cabin was exactly as described. The host was very hospitable, friendly, and helpful with questions about the area and things to do. Firewood was stocked, and later restocked when we ran out. The lake access was perfect. The kayak and canoe onsite was so convenient. The owls literally serenaded us to sleep. We would absolutely come back again! »

The location is VERY remote, which we frequently look for. A mid-point for exploring both Acadia/Bar Harbor and the Bold Coast - Quoddy Head, Lubec, Western Head Preserve and East Port. »

« It’s name says it all. A perfectly sized, literal “bed room” in the middle of the woods. The fire pit had wood all ready for me to use. If you were to come in the winter, the tiny home has a wood stove to use as well. »

« Great cabin!! I could move here!! Recently remodeled! 2 bedrooms downstairs and one large bedroom with 2 beds upstairs. Extra outdoor cooking/dining area, with gas grill, blackstone and picnic table. Down the hill is a dock, bit of a steep climb, but great for fishing and swimming. Canoe and kayaks available. Friendly owners right next door and willing to accommodate guest however needed. Definitely will be staying here again when we all come up to visit family!! »

« Very friendly restaurant staff, easy check in, private, very quiet, comfortable cabin. Excellent Mexican takeout in Millbridge and wonderful beaches and hiking trails around Machias. Great time to buy wild blueberries and enjoy the stark beauty of the barrens. Would visit again! »

« Great place to stay! View was fantastic. Staff were very helpful in every way. Only real complaint is that they should have had umbrellas for the picnic tables at each cabin. I’d recommend this place to family and friends! »

« Nice wood cabin, in a beautiful spot. There's was no wifi (it wasn't a surprise but it's rare and would be nice to add..) There was nothing to do with the TV because there was no cable to. Bed matress where confortable and it was nice to have 6 places for the kids. There was many spiderwebs and the cleaning could be better. »

« Scary. Huge black spiders in the bathtub. Very uncommunicative check-in, no info on property, trash, or any services. If you are over 55 and don't know much about streaming services, forget TV. Handle broke off of door fridge and wardrobe. Tiny bathroom counter even though the space is huge. Not a very efficient layout. This might work for some, but not for us. »

« Maine is our favorite place to be. This property was great. Tons of shade, a beautiful lake, dock, fire pit.. we had a blast. Even swam in a rainstorm and it was beautiful!! We visited Eastport and fell in love with a small little fishing town. Jasper beach was BEAUTIFUL even in the fog, such a special place.
