The Mara Explorer is the most magical and enchanting location for a safari I could ever imagine. 'Nice tented camp, the tents are new and covered on a platform. You look right onto the Talek River. At night zebra, hippos other wildlife come to drink. You are next to the park gate, it is a busy gate complete with the busy balloon guys. But you are right in the park no long drive, you just start your Safari right after your breakfast. '

'It's an excellent hotel and the very first thing is no words to explain the hospitality of the staff..right from the head Moses..chef Simon & team and the house keeping. The only sad part is about the electricity. Bad..just two hrs till 8 only in the morning n evening till 8 only ..the inverters don't support even for one light in tent room .and the worst is no cell signal at all! Otherwise it's great mainly for those who hit the pillow early and want to get away from calls!'

Royal Maison was nice, but this property is more level and the tents are closer to the reception and each other, yet still quite private. 'David and his team were exceptional! All meals were delicious and prepared fresh by their chef. Very close (5-7 minute) to the gate park! They have so many add on features including a champagne breakfast within Maasai Mara National Park…They also have photography options to capture your moments. Very accommodating and friendly staff. "Het personeel doet er echt werkelijk alles aan om je verblijf onvergetelijk te maken. Iedereen is vrolijk en vriendelijk en niets is teveel moeite. Iedere avond stond er een heerlijk buffet van lokale gerechten en speelde Frank liedjes op zijn gitaar. De lodge ligt ideaal langs een rivier. Wij hadden een eigen auto mee die al aan de andere kant van de rivier in het park stond. Zo hoefde je alleen de loopbrug over en kon je game drive beginnen. Het was fijn om tussen de game drives door lekker aan het zwembad te kunnen liggen. De private bush diner is erg aan te bevelen!"
