'We stayed here for a couple of nights on our way further south in France.The location is so quiet and pretty and the fenced garden meant we could relax and not worry about the dog or the kids wandering too far. The pool is ideal for small kids with a clever ladder which means when you don’t want them to get in you can remove the ladder. The hot tub is also a great feature.We really enjoyed this place and we feel relaxed and ready for the next day travelling to our bite in Aveyron.We’ll...

'Deze omgebouwde schaapskooi is in originele stijl gebleven maar is erg mooi van binnen. De oude haard en sfeer is behouden maar erg mooi opgeknapt. De 2 zwembaden hebben we ook gebruikt, beide zijn erg mooi en schoon. Prima uitgeruste keuken, grote tafel waar we alle 10 aan konden zitten. Ook de netheid was dik in orde. Een nadeel van die originaliteit is, de lage deuren. Diverse leden van ons gezelschap stootten hun hoofd. De bovenverdieping bevat een aantal slaapkamers maar ook bedden die...

'Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au gîte de la treille. Hôte très accueillant et prévenant, qui a emmené nos enfants en balade voir les animaux et les ruches. Une gîte très confortable, bien agencé, avec des équipements sympa tels que table de ping pong, baby foot et balançoire. Nous recommandons !'

'The most wonderful hosts and idyllic location. Beautiful huge garden, always plenty going on in what seemed like a very small town. Stephen and Michaela were so warm and welcoming and were very knowledgeable on the local area with some fabulous recommendations for food and things to do nearby. Great facilities and very clean house, even had an air fryer which is a proper luxury in France! There is so much in and around Confolens if you’re willing to look for it! Would stay again in a heart beat.'

'We had 2 wonderfully relaxing weeks in Belle Vue. The house met all our expectations. The view was phenomenal. There is a large garden with lots of privacy and a large trampoline for our child. And the house is fully equipped. We had lots of BBQ’s and at night we loved to put the fireplace on. The beds are very comfortable and Tim the owner makes sure everything goes smoothly during our stay. The house is 2 min drive from the boulangerie where they sell the best croissants and cakes. 'We have just returned from a 2nt stay in this beautifully restored property in a quiet village location. Super welcome from the host on arrival and lovely welcome pack-a nice touch and welcome surprise! Excellent communication with Lesley before and throughout our stay. "Het is een leuk oud pand met de charme die daar bij hoort. Wij hadden een grote kamer en veel hout, oud maar leuk oud. Groot breed bed en aan voorkant, veel verkeer maar geluid werd gedempt door luiken. Er is een grote tuin bij met een heel lang zwembad alleen door het weer konden wij er geen gebruik van maken. Het restaurant is goed en een echte aanrader. Het zit binnen in het pand op ook zo'n leuke plek in het hele complex. Het ontbijt is simpel Het hotel was moeilijk te vinden omdat er op het hek naar de parking geen bord hing. Maar het is echt een aanrader. Voor wie eens af wil wijken van een modern en standaard hotel en de charme van oude sfeer houdt is het ECHT een aanrader. Vriendelijk personeel. "
