« C'est adoré mon séjour de quatre nuits à Solar de Santa Maria. La taille humaine de l'hôtel, la proximite du centre ville, la possibilités de garer la voiture sur un parking public gratuit à trois minutes à pied. Le bâtiment etait magnifique avec beaucoup de caractères et un très grand jardin pour s'y reposer avec un livre ou le soir. La chambre était propre et confortable. Le petit déjeuner gargantuesque. Mais c'est surtout le service qui a été exceptionnel. Un grand merci aux deux jeunes...

« Pas de parking, obligé d’aller se garer loin sur un parking et de transporter les affaires à la main, chambre aux finitions médiocres, pas de cloison pour isoler les wcs des bruits / odeurs, support de pommeau de douche cassé, impossible de le poser, obligé de le laisser pendre, porte d’appartement sans aucune isolation ni joint, on entend tout ce sui se passe à l’extérieur sur le palier, lumière du palier qui reste allumée toute la nuit, donc lumière dans les yeux toute la nuit puisque le lit...

« The house was very clean and spacious, warm and comfortable, with a real log fire to complement the central heating. Our host Paula, a lovely lady, was an excellent host and very helpful, especially when Portugal was affected by a major power outage - she responded with torches, candles, warm soup, heating up a meal for us and a vacuum flask of hot water! We spent a fortnight exploring the Montesinho trails on foot and bike, and enjoyed it immensely. Rural northern Portugal at its best. »

« The only available room called Suite was priced 155€ for one night, breakfast included, at Eastern Friday. This Price is much too high in relation with the quality of the hotel and the offered service. I am living nearly the whole year in hotels, in many countries, for work purposes mostly, so I know pretty well what I am talking about in matter of standarts. Let me rate it. Breakfast food is 4/10, and we had to wait about 15 mn to get a seat. Hair dryer was not working. The church bell tower...

« Rustic home with beautiful antique decor and furnishings from previous generations. Well equipped kitchen, utensils, dishes, pots/pans galore, nothing missing to make you feel at home. Comfortable beds, a great place to escape the urban noise and enjoy a different pace of life. If you're lucky, you may even see an older guy with a trailer and donkey/Acolhador, tranquilo; um paraíso rustico apenas a 10 minutos de Bragança. Não falta nada para se sentir na própria casa. »
