'Overall nice lodge, well situated in Pilanesberg park. The rooms are beautiful and well equipped. Although Expedia mentions a full-board dining regime it is best to ask before your trip when they expect you to come in for which meal. We arrived around 7pm after a game drive and were told by the receptionist we could have lunch the next day and went straight on to dinner that night. The next day we were told 1 hour before lunch by another receptionist that we had forfeited it and were expected to...

'Unbeschreiblich toll! Hier wurde und wird wirklich an das kleinste Detail gedacht, von der Einrichtung, über den Service bis hin zum Essen. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt hier mit einzigartigen Game Drives. Das gesamte Team ist unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend, sodass man sich von der ersten Sekunde an wohl fühlt. Ich hoffe sehr, dass wir es irgendwann schaffen wieder zu kommen :)'

'the lodge is just beautiful, the animals walk around the property and are very easy to see.
the rooms (luxury suites) are very well equipped and decorated.
Staff is super friendly and helpful; food options are plenty and very tasty and the game drives are very well organized.'

'Ruim huisje met terras en uitzicht op het park. Op zich niks verkeerd, maar niet helemaal zoals op de foto's op de website. Die waren, vermoed ik, van de nieuwere huisjes aan de andere kant. Beetje misleidend :-(
Het diner was goed maar het ontbijtbuffet was wel heel duur naar Zuid-Afrikaanse normen en niet eens zo speciaal.

'Mbazo lodge is truly a special place. You are looked after like a king. True six star service. The food and drink was incredible. The chef so talented. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The drives were amazing and the guides so knowledgeable. Thirty elephants came and drank from the pool while I was eating lunch my first day. A wonderful place. '
