« Perfect for a weekend getaway! Just 15 miles from historic downtown Jefferson where we spent the days. Then back to the cabin on Lake of the Pines to watch the sunset on the porch of the cabin. So quiet the only noise was the birds at the water and the squirrels chattering and playing. »

« Very nice well kept tiny house. We felt very comfortable and slept great. It had a great little deck overlooking a pond. Only a couple of minor issues - the house is pretty close to the highway so there was some road noise but a fan in the bedroom provided enough white noise to cover it. Also, be aware the cell service was limited. We have ATT and were not able to use cellular. The house does however provide wifi with internet so one can utilize that for texting and wifi calling. « This is a jewel of a place to relax and enjoy the country life. We knew we were going to love it from the minute we pulled in the long driveway. Each morning we had breakfast on the side patio and watched the ducks on the pond. The facilities provide everything you could need for your stay. The master bedroom is comfortable, cool, and best of all dark. It was so nice to just sit back and listen to birds while reading and sitting under the pergola. Plenty of places to walk. « Cozy Cabin is just that! Its small, but clean & well appointed ... comfortable bed, nice li ens & towels, great a/c, full kitchen! We love the updated bath & kitchen. Great appliances! Plus, wonderful outdoor spaces. We grilled out the 1st night. We would stay here again. »

« There is almost no where to stay in Gilmer, but this cabin was perfect. You can hear the road noise, but it’s really not horrible. We have family of 6, with kids between the ages of 1-14. Everyone had their own bed, and our older kids thought the loft was really cool. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The A/C works great. My kids enjoyed walking the property too. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit family. »

« The cabin was so clean and inviting! We chose this cabin because it had two bedrooms with King size beds. The mattresses were very comfortable. The room my husband and I stayed in had a wonderful storage piece so we could hang our clothes and unpack our suitcase and place all our items so we didn’t have to keep getting into our suitcase. We also wanted a kitchen where we could have a refrigerator to store beverages to keep cool and for various snack. The cabin has a nice balcony that looks on...
