'Laikyns Lodge is an amazing home on a beautiful sprawling property. It is a beautiful, huge log home with quality everywhere. Amazing indoor and outdoor spaces. The warm indoor pool kept 5 kids (and their parents) busy. The walk from the pool to the outdoor hot tub was cold but well worth it. On clear nights, the fire pit is a great gathering spot. 'We had an amazing stay for our long weekend for our family of 5. (3 college kids, so 5 adults!) 'Fantastic place to get away from home and enjoy the country! My family and I absolutely loved the peace and quiet! The kitchen and bathrooms are fantastic and all the amenities you need are supplied! The little extras, like the s'mores ingredients, the host supplied were perfect! It's getting really hard to find a nice place to stay, in the Hocking Hills area, that is big enough for a family of 5, that doesn't cost an unreasonable amount of money! 'We had a fabulous time at Lakeside Hideaway! The owners are very responsive and you can tell they take pride in their property! The house was extremely clean, plenty of of towels, comfortable beds and patio furniture. The extra touches from the owners didn't go unnoticed.
