« This property had a generous amount of space, with two living rooms, a game room, two 8-person dining tables, and a fold-out bed in addition to the 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The kitchen had settings for 16, a large refrigerator, space to work, amenities in good condition, and adequate pots and pans although these were Teflon-lined. « Check in went really well.The rooms were much darker than anticipated. The pictures online looked much brighter. The furniture needs a some TLC--a lot of chipped paint, torn back rest on the couch, well-loved "sitting spots" on the couches. Stains on the carpet areas.It was a clean place but for what we paid per night, I kinda expected a little higher quality details.Host interaction was very prompt, expectations well laid out. « The host did not disclose that they live on the property. The house was not ready at 4pm. When we arrived at 6pm, the host was still inside cleaning. We did not stay here because we were uncomfortable with the host living on the property and numerous other things. There was a weird door behind a mirror on the wall. There was a hole in the wall by the ceiling, unfinished light fixture, and spray paint on the wall/door. There was a cat in the house. The host had personal items in the washer...
