'Super suite, très bien équipée. La clé dans la boîte aux lettres est géniales. L’accueil par le propriétaire est du hasard mais top ! Ma seule peur était de laisser la voiture dans l’avenue, ça roule vite et vu le nombre de voitures sur le trottoir, ce n’est pas très rassurant. '

Breakfast was rather moderate for the price paid, but overall the experience was certainly WOW. Congrats to the owners!'

'J'ai séjourné le mardi 7 février dans la chambre Ardoise, dés ma réservation effectuée, j'ai reçu un SMS de Christelle, avec toutes les indications nécessaires pour le séjour. Il est intéressant de noter que vous pouvez commander un plateau dégustation pour le dîner, ce qui est fort appréciable. Arrivé sur place, j'ai été immédiatement pris en charge par Christelle, qui m'a bien expliqué le fonctionnement de son gîte, en me faisant découvrir la très belle chambre, on peut même dire suite...

'Accommodatie is oud, en erg gedateerd. De eigenaar kwam om 21:00 al zeggen dat het stil moest zijn. Terwijl we alleen zaten te praten. Tevens het verwijt dat er niet gegeten of gedronken mocht worden op de kamer. En dan bedoel ik , thee of koffie. Al met al erg onvriendelijke mensen. Spreken alleen Frans en alleen de mogelijkheid contant te betalen. Geen fijne plek om te verblijven '

'Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise.'

'We had a wonderful holiday at le moulin de la follaine. Its a calm and quiet, lush place and a great location from which you can travel to all the wonders of the pays Loire. We stayed at the gite, resembling a cute cottage, for a week and a half. There is a beautiful private garden when you rent the gite, but the whole premise (pond included) is accessible, very pretty and filled with animals such as 4 great cats, geese and chickens. 'Propriétaire arrangeante et disponible. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour entre amis, avec 4 jeunes enfants. L'extérieur de la maison est très appréciable même si nous avons parfois été dérangés par des frelons. La cuisine est grande et fonctionnelle, de même pour le salon. Certains éléments pourraient être réparés (couvercle de la poubelle, poignée de portes...). Chambres confortables et bonne literie. Équipement pour les bébés (lit à barreaux, chaise haute et baignoire). Nous reviendrons...

'This property was a very positive surprise during my trip to France. The experience provided by the couple that run La Pomélie was beyond expectations. The place has clean and comfortable installations, the reception was warm and informative about the surrounding area, and the breakfast was rich, all made by the owners using local ingredients. Table was set in a way that I could fell special and living in the country side of France. The attention to the details was tremendous. Strong recommend....

'Na een gastvrije ontvangst werd ons alles gewezen in het huisje. Heerlijk Frans en sfeervol. Benedenverdieping met grote kamer/keuken. De slaapkamers en badkamer boven. Opgemaakte bedden en rulle handdoeken en washandjes lagen klaar. Geen gedoe met extra kosten, waarborg, enz. De eigenaar maakt samen met 2 collega's heerlijke biologische wijnen en brouwt bovendien 4 lekkere bieren. Kortom: wij komen nog eens terug, temeer daar de Loirestreek prachtig uitgezetten fietsroutes heeft.'
