'The Shambhala aparthotel was a very nice place to stay. As we enjoyed out overall stay, we do have note that the matras was terrible to sleep on and gave us terrible back and shoulder pains. My advice would be to have them replaced! In terms of the location Parque Holandes… The only restaurant worth visiting is Don Pepè at the start of the parque. Because of the isolated part the parque is located a car is surely advisable. Other than that we enjoyed our stay at Fuerteventura at the Shambhala. '

'The Villa is massive with very large rooms and just about larger en-suite bathrooms! It sits in wonderful grounds and is virtually silent both day and night which suited our requirements perfectly. There were only two of us so six bedrooms is somewhat of an overkill but the villa’s position on the island meant that we could do everything we wanted to do without spending hours driving. 'Pros: Die Gastgeberin Mari war sehr freundlich hat alles gut erklärt. Wlan war sehr gut. was wir sehr gut gefunden haben war der Vorrat an Toilettenpapier auch war Spülmittel und Waschpulver für die Waschmaschiene vorhanden. Die Terrasse war ideal. Man konnte am Morgen schon draußen Frühstücken, weil die Terrasse in der Sonne lag. Die Betten waren sehr gut, wir haben super geschlafen. Cons: Es gibt da eine Sache die nicht ganz in Ordnung war. 'We really enjoyed our stay in Betancuria. The house was really clean and thoughtful equipped and beautifully designed. For us as a family it was ideal but as already mentioned the doors of the rooms don’t close properly. For us it was a good homebase to explore the island if you don’t want to stay in the touristy areas. After 6 pm there is not a single tourist left in this beautiful town! 'Pros: Zentral , sowohl in den Norden als auch in den Süden um etwa 1 Stunde Fahrzeit mit dem Auto. Etwa 1,5km weg vom Ortskern mit den paar Bars, aber war diesmal ja auch nicht geplant diese zu besuchen, wenn man alles am Hause oder nach dem Einkaufen im Haus hat. Cons: Geschirrspüler sollte mal erneuert oder repariert werden.'
