'Oh this place is beautiful. The main Lodge is a gorgeous building, full of fascinating books and accessories for sale. (Not to mention the sweetest cats). Stanford has the only indoor pool and hot tub for 100 miles. The restaurant was hot garbage, but Mendocino is chock full of wonderful places to eat.'

'Truly underwhelming experience all around. We paid over $700 per night and were like 🤔 whaaaat? Our room was good enough I guess. Lower level, no view. All the rooms are attached to the main building so you don’t have any real solo space to come and go. Things are a little run down. The “chef inspired appetizer” we got our first night was a cold chicken Ceasar salad with dressing and croutons from a package. No actual ocean views. We stayed at Heritage House last year and it’s 1,000 times...

'Het was net of we in een Engels hotel binnen stapten, ergens in Zuid Engelenland,dat vonden we van de sfeer.Kamers gezellig ingericht, niet modern. Het diner was zeer goed, wit gedekte tafels en vriendelijk personeel.Niet goedkoop.bv wijn uit de buurt was prima maar prijzig. Heerlijk terras aan de rivier. Dichtbij het Redwood national en state parks.'

'We just loved it. What a beautiful room with a breathtaking view. We loved the atmosphere of the village and the landscape. We definitely want to come back and stay for several nights. '

'There was one main problem with our room - the bed was incredibly uncomfortable, the mattress fell into the middle and the bed creaked loudly every time you moved. We barely got any sleep. Also there was no soap or shampoo for the bath or the shower. The breakfast and hors d'oeuvres were very good. The hot water, shower and towels were quite good. '

'Breath taking views, great high end accommodations, excellent food.... Colby our evening waiter could not have made a better stay for us. He is very cool, yet refined, kind and respectful. Could not recommend this property enough. We will be back!!!'
