We had a great stay at this property. Communication with the host was excellent and the accommodation was lovely with a great view. The resort is beautiful and the restaurant excellent. We enjoyed the nightly live music. There was some construction at the resort but it didn’t detract from our visit. We appreciated the beach chairs. The only thing negative is that there is no lounge chair in the room as indicated in the photos. There is only one small chair to sit on.

The host (Harold) was great at communicating. The room is a hotel room, very clean and well stocked. Regrettably, a microwave was not allowed by the property. So, plan on restaurants. One restaurant on-site. The bed is perhaps the best bed we've ever slept on. A great Keurig coffeemaker and pods a plus.Placement is in the third floor, and, while we were there, the was a LOT of construction going on -- not annoyingly noisy but lots of detours. The place is situated very near the airport and Safeway, etc. and central to the island. West or North, take 45 minutes.Pluses: bed, bed, bed, A/C, coffee maker, central location; Minuses: small, hotel room, no cooking of any kind, a bit "resorty" for our tastes. Construction. 40/ night parking fee (additional)All-in-all, a very pleasant stay.

Centrally located in Kauai with a beautiful pool (unfortunately the waterfall wasn't going during the whole duration of our stay). Loved the beach views but be prepared that it's not a swimmable beach in September. Harold communicated clearly and gave some great tips on enjoying the property. The resort is on the east side of the island, which made for pretty sunrises and it was nice that the unit itself faces north so no direct sunlight in or heating it up.

Rather than a condo as I understand them, it was a poorly furnished hotel room. I was specifically told that there would be at least a mircowave. (I enjoy going to local markets and cooking on vacation.) There was a coffee maker and a frig. There was only one chair in a room that was booked as 3 -4. We were told that the property would sleep 3 - 4. When I asked specifically about beds, i was told that there was a king bed and a chaise. I asked if the chaise made into a bed. I was told yes. When we got there, the chaise was an antique wicker 12 inches off the ground with less than 4 feet of flat surface (unsleepable for an adult.) Our host in his welcome email told us that the furniture was wood and asked that we not put wet glasses on it, but there was not a single coaster. We did have a lovely view of the pool area and could see the ocean from the lanai. Howevet, we were not told that we would be on the grounds of the P

The complex, grounds, and the unit are nice. We had everything we needed, including beach chairs and other assorted beach equipment. The bed was comfortable. The host was very helpful. Be aware, this area of the island is very windy & the beach is not for swimming.

Perfect Hawaiian getaway

My fiance and I wanted to stay near Lihue so that we were central to all of the amazing sites of Kauai! This was a stunning property and we loved staying here! Harold was wonderful to communicate with ahead of time and gave us many wonderful suggestions that we took advantage of! The room was beautiful and very clean. It was perfect for our stay and we would absolutely stay again!

Vrbo Kaui Beach Resort

This was our first time stay at this place for 2 weeks in Jan 2025. Our host was very helpful and responsive. The unit has a lot of extras accessories (beach chairs, coffee ,etc). The unit is nicely located in the complex Staff at the resort are really nice and 3 restaurant options to choose from Compared to other places this was a good value place and very convenient from/ to airport after a long flight . Only issue is 40 us per day parking cost Which seems very high . However other places who have free parking likely hide it in their resort fees so all things equal good value place we only rented car for 5 days in our stay so that could be an issue for some as your you can’t really walk to any shopping easily As advertised , in suite cooking options do not exist but we got by with good sized fridge and made it work . Excellent condo and resort

This condo was exactly as it is advertised! Great view from balcony of pool area and ocena. Room was comfortable, and the refrigerator was good sized with a separate freezer compartment. The bed was comfortable, and the room was great for a vacation. There were plenty of towels and amenities for a short term stay. The resort is excellent with 4 pools, an outdoor bar, activities (lei making, hula class, ukulele lesson) and there are several "happy hours" every day. Check in was excellent, and even though the parking is somewhat expensive, we used the valet parking and it was great (also same price as self-park). The property owner is outstanding, and was extremely helpful both before and during our stay. The property is less than 5 minutes from the airport in Lihue, and we loved the location We would return to this condo any time we are back in Kaua'i.

The Perfect Place for The Perfect Island

We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more! The resort itself was beautiful with super friendly staff. We spent a ton of time in the pools and hot tubs, woke up to see amazing sunrises at the beach, and were happy to use the gym and gas grills on site. The unit itself was super clean and the bed & pillows were super comfortable. We loved the view from the balcony and really appreciated that the host provided two beach chairs and a couple coolers for us. The host, Harold, was super communicative and even gave us great advice about the island. This location was super convenient, as it was centrally located between the north and the south sides of the island and had plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Highly recommend!

Just as described and more!

Our stay was amazing. The place had everything we were looking for - central location, great pools, and above all else, a beautiful view! The room waa well stocked with coffee, beach towels and chairs, and even a boogie board. Harold was great to deal with throughout the process and outlined everything in detail. Check-in was a breeze and not much different with his vacation rental as would be checking in as a hotel guest. Highly recommended!

Lovely Beach Resort Near the Airport

Outrigger Kauai Beach Resort will always hold a very special place in our hearts. We've been coming here for years. It's our "Go-To" resort on the island....in fact, we were married here a few years ago. Beautiful grounds with a lovely pool area and located right by the ocean. Although, be aware....swimming on this beach isn't recommended due to possible undertow currents and "man-o-war". There are plenty of other beaches on the island that are safer. Refer to local guidebooks for suggestions. As for this particular room where we stayed Aug 2024, Room #3306---If you like an EXTRA FIRM, king-size bed, mounted on a board (no box spring), then this room is for you! Go for it! But if you would like to have, IMO, a more comfortable night's rest, there are plenty of other units at this resort to choose from. I highly recommend discussing the comfort level of the bed with the owner before deciding on any rental. Despite our host being relatively attentive, "It is what it is" with the bed and he can't change that. Also, if you're a coffee lover and you're hoping to brew your favorite cup in the room, be aware that the "in-room coffeemaker" is a Keurig, not a drip coffee maker. Other than that (and a couple of other missteps I won't mention here), the view from this room is great and although it's right over the pool area, the noise level is manageable. We loved having our morning breakfast on the balcony, which makes it all worth any inconveniences you may encounter. Aloha!

Convenient Paradise

My wife and I stayed for 10 days. The pictures of the view are entirely accurate… Stunning. the room itself is nicely sized, and the owner was welcoming and engaging. Careful attention to detail was obvious throughout. The one caveat is the $35 per day parking fee… Which is not under the control of the owner.
