'There was no one there to meet us, help out or talk with. ….only a phone number to text if there was a problem. We were given a code for the front door and the key to our room was in the door to our room. Our room, #6, had a stand alone tub with a lip that was 30 inches high. We are in our late 70’s and neither of us could climb into to tub to take a shower. So we did without showers for 3 days. And there was nothing on the tub bottom to keep you from slipping. 'Overrated ! The rooms are very dark, smell very musty. The shower was very dirty and covered in black mold and mildew . The pool is also very small and in a cage . The only thing going for this place is the location otherwise it’s a very old building that has been poorly renovated years ago . Not a boutique hotel !!'

'Such a cute little stay! They are very accommodating to guests with dogs and provide a whole little dog kit- including doggy bags, bowl, and a list of dog-friendly places to eat. Walking distance to the beach, jacuzzi bathtub, and very comfortable beds! You can borrow movies from the office to watch, if nothing on cable is striking your interest. Yummy snacks and coffee available too! I plan to stay here again.'

'This is a very nice listing and we would stay again. We did run into issues with directions to the property- maybe because we booked third party. Check in instructions could have been clearer and there could be more kitchen utensils like tongs, a spatula, a colander, etc. I did attempt to contact the property a couple of times over the messenger service, but did not receive a response to either message.'

While the location is excellent—just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, shops, and the main downtown area—the overall experience was disappointing, especially for $249.93 per night. The biggest issue was cleanliness. When we opened the bed, we found blood stains on the sheets. Housekeeping came to replace them, but the replacement sheets also had blood stains. There were also mosquitoes in the room, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. The room...

'This motel is exactly what you see, very basic, but good. Upon entering, the light scent of chlorine reassures you that everything is clean and well-maintained. It’s centrally located, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. I can imagine that in the summer months, being so close to the beach, this would be a great base for an amazing vacation.'
