Cute 3 bedroom home in Angola By The Bay only 15 minutes to Lewes, Rehobeth and Cape Henlopen State Park. Community pool, tennis, basketball, baseball field and playground are only a short walk through the woods from the front door. Community includes a marina where boating privileges can be arranged and 2 crabbing docks.

The house has 2 master suites One KING size bed, a QUEEN size bed and a third bedroom with 2 single beds. Each bed room has its own bathroom. Linens are not supplied. There is a stacked washer/dryer, skylights in the kitchen and a bright sun room in the front of the house. Peaceful Stay in Lewes

We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at this peaceful home in Lewes. The house was spotless and well-maintained, tucked away in a quiet location that still felt close to everything we needed. It offered the perfect balance of convenience and calm.The AC worked well overall, though we noticed that the king and queen bedrooms didn’t cool quite as efficiently as the rest of the house. Fortunately, each room had its own fan, which made a big difference.The pool on the property was a pleasant surprise — much larger than we expected and a great spot to unwind. The bedrooms were spacious and each came with its own bathroom. Two had tubs and one had a shower. While the bathrooms were small, we really appreciated the privacy of having one for each room.Inside, there were two separate living areas, which was a nice feature for spreading out. The dining table is on the smaller side and is located across from the kitchen, separated by the living room. There’s also a bar area with two stools in the kitchen, which was a cozy touch.There’s a charcoal barbecue available. We didn’t use it since we’re more accustomed to gas grills, but it’s a great option for guests familiar with charcoal grilling.Most importantly, the owners were extremely responsive to any questions or issues that came up during our stay. It made the experience feel even more comfortable and well-supported.All in all, this property was a great fit for our trip, and we’d definitely recommend it to a family of four.

False advertising

I cannot believe this property got any good reviews. The description is entirely fabricated. The house was anything but “super clean”. In fact, it was filthy. It smelled of mildew. Only appears clean at a glance but don’t look behind or move anything because it’s disgusting. How disgusting? We ended up leaving at 1:00 A.M on our third day and going to a hotel because of an infestation. Not only that but “the nicest outdoor shower” in “the world” was horrible. Nobody would ever shower there. Everything is outdated. Coffee pot was broke. Two of the three bathrooms are closet size and dirty. Kitchen not stocked well at all. Looks like all garage sale items or from goodwill. I can’t believe VRBO would even list this mess.

It's exactly as advertised. Only 15 minutes to Rehoboth Beach. House has a small washer/dryer too. Only thing I think the property owner should do is let people know that linens and towels are not included.

Very clean and family friendly getaway. Location is close, but far enough away from all the noise and traffic of the beach locations. House has all the amenities needed to have a peaceful dinner. This house is set up perfectly for a young family looking for a quiet and peaceful location when not enjoying the beach or nightly attractions. Owner has exceptional communication skills, always answering questions in a timely manner.

Mixed Feelings

There were a few things that we really did like and then there were some things that we wish were better. -The location of the house allows you to get to many great vacation spots within 15-20 minutes. -Communicating with the renters was quick and easy. -The community pool was a nice size and also has a playground within walking distance. — - Unfortunately we did not find the house as up to date as some guests had stated. The bedrooms and bathrooms were rather dated including the carpeting, chipped bathroom tile and lackluster faucets and shower. - We also found the air conditioner struggling in most rooms. One room got cool but the other to seemed to be at least 5 degrees warmer with very little air flow. - Lastly once we entered the house, we didn’t really see any direction to use the pool or other amenities. There was no obvious walk through the woods to the pool so we walked along the main road. While we really appreciate the great communication from the renters and location of the house, we found that the reviews we read and some things about the house really missed the mark.

Summer Vacation

We truly enjoyed our stay. The bedrooms were perfect for our family, each with their own full bathroom. The kitchen and living space were just right. The area was a 15-20 min ride to the beaches, restaurants, outlets and Rehoboth. We chose this location to be close to family in the area. The hosts were easy to communicate with and very gracious allowing us in the house early because it was ready and forgiving us for losing a key. We would definitely stay there again!

Best beach bunker ever

This was the most amazing home I have stayed at! The property owners were the sweetest and even had waters for us in the fridge when we got there. This property was impeccably clean and smelled so good when we arrived, we will definitely be returning. Not only was it gorgeous, but I was sold after using the outside shower following a long day at the beach. Only 15 mins to the inlet and 15 mins to all the best restaurants in town without being stuck in the crowds. So thankful we were able to share this incredible home, most thanks to Dan & Pam!!!
